I recently purchased a brand new custom home in Lakeway, Texas. I love the house but unfortunately it was not “pre-wired” for a home security system. I had interviewed two home security companies before I spoke with Jeff Alexander, owner of AllStar Security.
Jeff was very professional and knowledgeable. After discussing my home security concerns and the fact my house was not “pre-wired”, Jeff was able to design a system, which completely fit my needs. I do not feel that Jeff tried to “sell” me on products I did not need – I did feel that way with the other companies.
Post consultation, Jeff and his team of technicians were able to wire my house with no problems and completed an amazing install. My system is easy to use and I feel very secure with a monitored AllStar Security system in my home.

My name is Matt, and I first met Jeff 10yrs. ago after I purchased my first house. After talking with other salesmen my family felt comfortable with his straight answers about service fees, coverage, and what system we should invest in. Recently I purchased a house and felt the need to install a security system, simply for the size of it, travel purposes, and feeling secure when home. Keep in mind this is my first home security system, as I have resided in apartment style living for the past four years and never felt it was necessary. On my lunch I called a few home security vendors, including ADT and Brinks, for pricing (installation fees, equipment costs, activation fees, and monthly monitoring). However, I felt the prices to be rather steep for what I wanted to pay and tired of the salesman type of situation I had found myself in. Jeffery with CSG was my last call, he politely asked if he could give me a free quote that week, offered the best price I had received that day (no installation or equipment costs).
Later in the week Jeffery gave a site visit to my home, offered his suggestion, which made sense for my needs, as I had informed him over the phone. Onsite he ran my credit for his special pricing, I signed the paperwork and a technician came the following week for installation.
Not only was the pricing and friendliness exceptional, the benefits came later. Once my alarm came on while away traveling, when I came home nothing had happened, other than the weather stripping expanding on my front door due to heat (normal in new constructions, he immediately came out and helped my situation).
Second, was the a time I thought my alarm had gone de-active, I called the number listed on my keypad once again, Jeff picked up, walked me through a two or three minute step. At this point everything seemed to be working, Jeff then had the monitoring headquarters on conference to ensure my signal was working (I have a wireless alarm), and everything was in working order. This phone call ended with my apology for my operator error, which he declined to accept.
